LandmanalaugarThis was taken at the popular Landmanalaugar hiking area in Iceland I have been working to improve my photography over the past few years. There have been online courses, community college courses, a camera club and local workshops. I have also shot a lot of pictures. A favorite way to learn is by going to a photo workshop or photo tour. The Iceland trip with Jennifer Wu was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with professional and talented amateur photographers visiting some fantastic landscapes. Iceland did not disappoint. The entire landscape was volcanic rock, so there were almost no trees. The glaciers and mountains created rivers and waterfalls everywhere. There were very few people and many, many sheep. The people that we did encounter all spoke English, so it we had no trouble finding our way and doing business. I have put up some photos in the Places section of this web site. I hope that they do justice to this amazing place.
