Tiptoo Lake ReflectionMount Rainier and Tiptoo Lake at Sunset

I participated in a photo workshop, last month, at Mount Rainier National Park.  Rick Sammon led 10 of us to some of the best photo opportunities in that park.  The weather was beautiful: there was no rain at all.  Of course, we could have used some more clouds to add to the sunrise and sunset pictures, yet we could not really complain about the conditions at all.  There were even some amazing lenticular clouds on the second to last morning.

It is really helpful to spend time with other photographers, both professionals and amateurs.  The talented group at Mount Rainier helped me get into the mood to do better work.  We all worked on separating elements and producing in-camera HDR images.

Spending my time making art is a huge change from my previous job.  It is a lot of fun!
